UGANDA SPECIAL SAFARI

Queen Elizabeth is a host to a large variety and volume of wildlife. There over 560 species of bird found here including the martial eagle, black-rumped buttonquail, Verreaux's eagle owl and African skimmer to name but a few.

Day1: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Depart by road for Queen Elizabeth National Park. This scenic drive will take approx 5-6 hours. Stop at the Equator for a cup of coffee or tea and a brief informative presentation then proceed for lunch at a hotel in Masaka.

Upon arrival at your lodge, check in and lunch

Late afternoon game drive, for an opportunity to spot elephants, waterbucks, warthogs, hippos and other animals. Head to the Kasenyi area of the park where lions are frequently spotted. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 2:
Early morning game drive. After lunch boat trip along the kazinga channel for an opportunity to view wildlife up close: hippos will huff and spray mere feet away from the boat, while buffalos linger in the swallows. The shores of the channel are also home to an array of birds including pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork and many others.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge

Day 3:
After breakfast,
Option 1: Proceed for the chimp trek in Kyambura Gorge. These delightful apes, more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, are tremendous fun to watch as theysquabble and play in fruiting trees.

Option 2: Depart for a Nature walk in Maramagambo forest and a visit to a bat cave, home to thousand of bat that are food to the pythons in the cave. Drive for Kampala with a stop in Masaka/ Mbarara for lunch.

Overnight at your hotel.
